ACA International’s 2021 Annual Convention & Expo, July 28-30 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is bringing back several networking opportunities for attendees to connect in-person.
It’s been a whirlwind year and ACA is beyond excited to welcome you back to in-person networking and learning. The annual convention will feature education and business solutions as well as important accounts receivable management (ARM) industry updates. There will be fun activities too, including the return of the awards breakfast and keynote, the Dinner with Strangers event as well as a Topgolf outing hosted by ACA’s Political Action Committee (ACPAC).
Register today for access to these networking events throughout this year’s convention:
First-time attendees are invited to a reception to meet each other and interact with ACA staff and other members at 2 p.m. PDT July 28, followed by a reception for the Women in Collections Resource Council (WICRC), a women’s mentorship and education group within ACA’s membership, at 2:30 p.m. PDT.
The reception is designed to serve as an organizing event to encourage women to network, share information and continue discussions about membership with the WICRC.
Day one of the convention’s networking events will conclude with the welcome reception and opening of the Innovation Stage, showcasing fresh ideas and resources from ACA’s affiliate members in the Expo Hall.
Interested attendees can mix up the networking experience during “Dinner with Strangers,” a popular activity to meet new people. You won’t know which Las Vegas hot spot you’ll be eating at (or which ACA members you’ll be dining with, until 15 minutes before dinner time. Join the fun and suspense and sign up today—space is limited. No additional registration fee is required—you pay for your own transportation, dinner and drinks.
On Thursday, July 29, support ACA’s bipartisan Political Action Committee and practice your golf swing during an outing at Topgolf, sponsored by Nationwide.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced golfer, Topgolf provides an experience everyone can enjoy. Get your swing on and join us for a night on the third level at Topgolf Las Vegas. Food and drinks will be provided.
This is a 21+ event and you are responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue. Tickets for this event are $225 per person and proceeds will benefit ACPAC.
Thursday also features a Young Professionals reception. ACA created a Young Business Professionals Group on ACA’s online member community, The Hub (log in required), before the 2019 Convention & Expo in San Diego. The group provides opportunities for young professionals in the ARM industry to connect, share experiences and foster ideas for the future of the industry and ACA encourages members to join and participate in group discussions on The Hub before ACA’s convention. In addition, ACPAC will also be hosting an invitation-only reception for those who have contributed this year.
A sneak peek of the full agenda is available on the convention website.
Register today to join ACA for the 2021 Annual Convention & Expo, and book your hotel room early to get one in ACA’s room block close to the meeting space. Rooms in the Palace Tower are just an elevator ride away from the meeting space. Rooms in the Julius Tower are a short walk away. ACA’s room block includes a discounted resort fee.
More than 50 companies have already committed to showing ACA members how they will support their continued success on the Innovation Stage and in the Expo Hall.
