Advocate Across the Miles at Washington Insights Livestream

Advocacy is one of ACA International’s core goals, making it important to continue to provide the opportunity for members to interact with Washington insiders even during challenging times as a result of COVID-19.

With that in mind, our leadership and advocacy team reimagined the Washington Insights Fly-In slated for May into a Washington Insights Livestream on June 3, 2020.

The Washington Insights Livestream will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Standard Time June 3, with panel discussions featuring industry experts, Washington insiders, congressional staff and regulators.

Among the speakers, U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer, R-Minn., will address attendees with a 2020 Election Update.

The agenda is subject to change; updates will be posted online as available.

Session topics and additional speakers include:

COVID-19 Administration, Legislative and Regulatory Efforts Impacting the Debt Collection Industry with Mark Neeb, ACA International CEO; Leah Dempsey, ACA vice president and senior counsel, federal advocacy; Andrew Madden, ACA vice president state and government affairs; and ACA President Roger Weiss.

Fighting back Against Flawed Medical Debt Legislation at the State and Federal Level with Paul Miller, government affairs representative, American Association of Healthcare Administration Management; Scott Purcell, president, Professional Credit Service; Tim Haag, president, State Collection Service Inc.; Eric Ellman, general counsel Consumer Data Industry Association; moderated by Andrew Madden.
