The accounts receivable management industry is currently embroiled in one of the toughest political fights in its history to continue operating. Over broad legislative efforts in response to COVID-19 at the state and federal level have harmed the ability to communicate with consumers and some instances have nearly halted operations.

The accounts receivable management industry is also awaiting to the first ever debt collection proposal from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, in addition to COVID response packages there are over a dozen debt collection related bills on Capitol Hill, and the Federal Communications Commission is addressing key issues about the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, SHAKEN/STIR and call blocking and labeling.

Members should join ACA International for a livestream event during this highly critical time for the industry to hear pertinent discussions from key policymakers and their staff, Washington Insiders, and industry experts.
