Are you banging your head against the wall out of worry that your employees, peers or community don’t take you seriously? Sometimes keeping up with your life and work can feel like learning the newest dance moves on TikTok.
Compliance demands, profit pressures, culture changes and a tricky work-life balance may make you feel uncoordinated. However, there are ways to channel your efforts to become a person of influence for the good of your business, colleagues and community.
Join Jennifer Whipple, president of Collection Bureau Services Inc., and Mindy Chumbley, owner of Solverity and president of the Washington Collectors Association, for a compelling 2022 Visionaries Conference session on how to create an influence plan to encourage growth for your teams, to support people across varied generations and to use your voice to lead through your values.
You’ll walk away with confidence and practical tips on how to be an influencer yourself! Join this session, “Beyond TikTok – How to Engage and Influence in the Real World,” at the Visionaries conference Nov. 1-2, at the Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago.
In this session, Whipple and Chumbley will help you:
- Identify opportunities to influence your community in new and creative ways.
- Incorporate different methods to be relevant through culture and generational shifts.
- Learn ways to be intentional about mentorship.
More Ways to Connect
Join Dinner with Strangers Tuesday, Nov. 1—an event that takes you out to a local Chicago restaurant for dinner with five to seven other Visionaries. You won’t know who you’re dining with or which Chicago hot spot you’re going to until you check-in at the meet-up location. There is no registration fee for Dinner with Strangers, but each person will pay for their own dinner and drinks at the restaurant. RSVP for the event is required.
Visionaries Scholarships Are Still Available
There are a few scholarships left that will assist in covering registration fees and hotel costs for Visionaries. Due to a generous donation from and co-founder and CEO Jacob Corlyon, members can apply for the remaining available scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis. CCMR3 is also the diamond sponsor for the event.
Access the 2022 Visionaries Conference scholarship application here. The application will be available until all the scholarships have been distributed. Applicants will receive a notification within five business days as to whether their application has been accepted and ACA will provide updates on the availability of the scholarships.
There is still time to be a part of ACA’s Fall Forum and the 2022 Visionaries Conference, where you will acquire the latest industry knowledge and exchange views on shared challenges at both events
The 2022 Visionaries Conference is a goal-centered, engaging experience for women and female-identifying individuals at every level of an organization, and is sponsored by CCMR3 and Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber Schreck. The two-day event, held in-conjunction with ACA’s Fall Forum, offers incredible opportunities for business networking with professionals and their allies in the industry, career empowerment and personal growth.
