Three-day advocacy event connects industry professionals with lawmakers and regulators. Check out exciting updates to our agenda!

Registration is open for the Washington Insights Fly-In, May 19-21, 2020, at the Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. This is one of the most important events of the year for members who want to have a voice on Capitol Hill!
It is tremendously important that members join ACA staff and leadership during this critical time to engage with policymakers in face-to-face discussions intended to educate them on the real-world impact of their decisions.
“The opportunity to come to Washington, D.C., and lobby on behalf of our industry is amazing,” said Melissa Nash, president of ARI in West Palm Beach, Florida, and an ACA Council Delegate – Unit Director with the Florida Collectors Association. “Congress considers all letters, phone calls and especially personal visits as the epitome of advocacy. Having a local presence and becoming the resource for congressional staff in their home district allows ACA to strengthen their lobbying efforts for an improved bottom line.”
There will be opportunities to discuss legislative and regulatory issues, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, call blocking and labeling and the industry’s response to the first-ever debt collection proposal from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
As in previous years, members can expect to engage with various lawmakers, their staff and ACA’s advocacy leadership, including CEO Mark Neeb.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear remarks from members of Congress and regulators before meetings on the hill and federal agency visits slated for Wednesday, May 20.
ACA’s D.C. team continues to develop a stellar line-up of speakers, including panel discussions featuring industry experts Washington insiders, Congressional staff and regulators on Thursday, May 21.
Register now to join us in Washington, D.C., and book your room at the Phoenix Park Hotel by April 28, 2020, for access to ACA’s room rates.
