ACA International will bring regulators and legislators together April 22 for the 2021 Washington Insights Virtual Fly-In, which will feature updates on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s pending issues affecting the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry from our newest speaker John McNamara, principal assistant director of markets at the CFPB.
The advocacy event, sponsored by VoApps, Venable LLP, and Solutions By Text, has an exciting agenda featuring representatives of federal and state regulators and members of Congress.
Register by April 21 for your entire staff to join the conversation for one payment of $99.
ACA developed a new and improved advocacy booklet for members, which includes resources to share with regulators and members of Congress.
Signing up means your entire staff can hear the latest updates on the importance of advocacy at the state and federal level and join ACA members, ACA staff and key D.C insiders to discuss what is happening “on the Hill,” and how ACA’s efforts are impacting your business operations.
Leaders of ACA International’s Women in Collections Resource Council (WICRC) will host a new session during the event highlighting their experience advocating in Washington, D.C. with a panel of members of Congress; and Leah Dempsey, ACA’s vice president and senior counsel of federal advocacy, and Travis Johnson, managing principal at 1607 Strategies, will moderate a session with U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., who serves on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee.
The event will conclude with a presentation on working with new leadership at federal agencies and a virtual happy hour with ACA’s Political Action Committee.
These are just some of the reasons to join this advocacy event showcasing the impact of connecting with regulatory and legislative officials for the ARM industry and fostering relationships for the future.
