Using technology to maximize business and resources dominated two morning sessions at the 2019 Convention & Expo attracting crowds of attendees eager to learn more about artificial intelligence and ways it will impact the accounts receivable management industry.
Starting the new offering of live stream sessions available to ARM professionals remotely as well as onsite at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, professionals heard from experts weighing in on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Effective Technology for your Business.”
Agencies can leverage technology such as artificial intelligence systems to complete day-to-day tasks their agents do; allowing those agents to maximize their skills working with consumers elsewhere, explained Dara Tarkowski, founding partner, Actuate Law LLC, during the discussion. Tarkowski, joined by Timothy Collins, chief compliance officer for True Accord Corp., Trip Edwards, co-founder and vice president, partnerships for Attunely Inc., and Erin Stewart, collections lead, Interactions, discussed how machine learning and artificial intelligence are currently deployed in the collection industry and ways to implement it into your business processes.
It’s all about leveraging different avenues available and using artificial intelligence to prioritize resources, Edwards added.
Meanwhile, data and technology resources on the back end are evolving through “The Emerging Technology of Cybertracking,” presented by Ron Brown IFCCE, MCE, president and CEO of CSI Group in Oklahoma City.
Skip tracing is a changing technique that now includes looking at how consumers communicate in order to know how to best find a profile including their accurate contact information, credit history and spending habits.
Data on consumers is everywhere, in multiple forms, making working with a “cybertracker” a valuable investment to home in on optimized results at a minimum cost.
Registration remains open from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, on the fourth floor Sapphire West Foyer at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
While the 2019 Convention & Expo concludes Tuesday, there remain many educational, networking and information opportunities including the Awards Breakfast & "Complaint Free Business" presentation featuring Will Bowen at 8 a.m. on the main stage in the Indigo Ballroom.
