ACA International’s Education & Events calendar has a lot of new activity lately, from virtual conferences to a host of new Hot Topic webinar subjects, and you could be a part of it.
Starting in June, ACA’s Director of Education Kelli Krueger launched a new Hot Topic webinar schedule for Tuesdays and Thursdays in the second and third weeks of the month, allowing members to plan to attend the trainings on a regular basis.
Based on member feedback, collector development was added into the mix of topics, in addition to legal, compliance and operations and a “wild card” training webinar held the third week of the month.
Krueger is also seeking speakers for the training sessions and specific topic ideas.
“If you have never spoken for ACA and you want to try, now is your time. It’s a great way to get involved,” she said.
A request for proposals is available for members to submit their ideas to Krueger.
Examples of collector development training members can expect include the importance of call flow, creating trust on the collection call or motivating the consumer to pay.
Be creative, Krueger said, when submitting wild card ideas or suggestions for any of the other topics.
Speaking during a Hot Topic training is a great way to get involved with your association, connect with fellow members and learn at the same time.
