ACA International’s 2023 Convention & Expo is officially underway July 26, bringing together the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry for three days of fun, networking, education and lifelong memories.
This event has something for everyone, from new professionals in the industry to emerging leaders and seasoned collections experts.
“At the ACA 2023 Convention & Expo, there’s one thing present that no one can get from watching an online presentation, and that’s the ability to interact with other people in the industry—who just heard the same information—and work off each other’s questions, insights and unique takeaways,” said ACA CEO Scott Purcell. “On top of that, there is the opportunity to interact in a much more rewarding way with the speaker—be it over a cup of coffee in the morning or a beverage at the Expo Hall reception—or perhaps even over dinner!”
Convention is ACA’s biggest event of the year, bringing together members and ARM industry professionals who are part of your community. This is the event where you can build new friendships that last a lifetime.
Registration is open from:
- 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 26
- 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. July 27

Here are a few of the opportunities ahead for the week:
On the Main Stage:
- Wednesday, July 26: The Power of Positive Leadership with Keynote Jon Gordon. Following opening remarks from ACA CEO Scott Purcell and President Courtney Reynaud, Gordon will discuss how positive leaders transform teams and organizations and change the world.
- Thursday, July 27: Advocacy Stage: The Forefront of Federal and State Advocacy. ACA leads the industry in advocating in Washington, D.C., and at the state level—increasing your bottom line and growth prospects for the overall industry. At this panel, hear from ACA’s leading advocates Scott Purcell; Vice President of State Unit and Government Affairs Andrew Madden; Leah Dempsey, Matthew Arentsen and Christopher Murray, shareholders at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP, on impactful topics including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s new FCRA rulemaking, automated-intelligence-related policymaking, and more from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Bring your questions for this expert panel!
- Friday, July 28: The Future is Now – Relate to Innovate with Keynote Betsy Ziegler. Ziegler, CEO of startup incubator 1871, will close out the annual awards ceremony with a discussion of the latest technologies and what you can do inside your own organization to engage the human side of innovation to drive positive change. Don’t miss your chance to discover vital insights about the tech ecosystem, what is yet to come, and what those changes mean for you.
There will be fun activities, too, including your chance at dart throwing with your peers at Flight Club Darts, sponsored by Nationwide and REPAY and benefiting the ACPAC Administrative Fund, as well as a networking event hosted by the Visionaries Committee (formerly the Women in Collections Resource Committee) and the President’s Closing Celebration.
