The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s director will field questions from members of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs March 10 during a hearing that often presents insights for the industry into the bureau’s rulemakings and focus for the months ahead.
CFPB Director Kathy Kraninger will testify and present her semiannual report to the committee.
ACA International’s advocacy team will submit a letter to Chairman U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, and Ranking Member Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, highlighting industry issues and concerns for the committee to consider as well as questions for the director.
Kraninger presented the semiannual report to the House Financial Services Committee in February.
The Senate testimony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time Tuesday, March 10. ACA will follow the hearing for coverage in ACA Daily.
