Regulators and accounts receivable management industry representatives, including ACA International CEO Mark Neeb, will participate in a half-day seminar on consumer protection enforcement hosted by the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section and Holland & Knight Nov. 16 at the member company’s office in Washington, D.C.
In addition to Neeb, speakers include:
- Serena Viswanathan, deputy director, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Federal Trade Commission;
- Abigail Stempson, Director, NAGTRI Center for Consumer Protection, National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG);
- Tom Pahl, policy associate director for Research, Markets & Regulations, at the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, the keynote speaker at ACA International’s upcoming Fall Forum & Expo Nov. 7-9 in Chicago; and
- Mark Eichorn, assistant director, Division of Privacy and Identity Protection (DPIP), Bureau of Consumer Protection at the FTC.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to join two panel discussions addressing important consumer protection issues: data privacy and social media advertising.
