Whether you are early in your career or well-versed in the industry, the 2022 Visionaries Conference is for you. This two-day event, held in-conjunction with ACA’s Fall Forum Nov. 1-2 at the Radisson Blu in Chicago, offers incredible opportunities for business networking, career empowerment and personal growth.
This conference is a goal-centered, engaging experience for women and female-identifying individuals at every level of an organization. All are welcome regardless of gender identity.
Through five sessions presented by leading industry women, including current ACA board members and Past President Dr. Karolyn Rubin, you’ll walk away empowered to take your career and personal development to the next level. Seats are limited—register today!
Here’s a sneak peek of two sessions you can attend at Visionaries:
You CAN Always Get What You Want – Negotiate Anything
Have you ever attended a meeting where you couldn’t get a word in? Have you ever felt as though people weren’t taking you seriously as you gave a presentation, negotiated or provided feedback? The ability to negotiate and be heard is one of the most critical skills in any interaction but is rarely developed. This engaging and interactive session explores areas that enhance your voice to be heard, to become a master negotiator, to exude confidence and to learn how to find your power.
Imposter Syndrome is Your Superpower
I’m not sure I can do this. They’ve overestimated my abilities. I think I’m going to get found out. I’m scared I’ve taken on too much. What if I fail and I can’t do it?
Do you ever feel like this? Do you feel that no matter how hard you work, how many hours you put in or new ideas you come up with, it’s never quite enough? Do you tend to avoid taking risks or taking on challenges due to the fear that you’ll get in over your head? You’re not alone—these thoughts have played continuously in the minds of almost every successful person. In this session, we’ll uncover what imposter syndrome is and why it affects so many; unpack the real impact of our fear of failure, perfectionism and people-pleasing tendencies; and more.

More Ways to Connect
Join us Tuesday, Nov. 1, for Dinner with Strangers—an event that takes you out to a local Chicago restaurant for dinner with five to seven other Visionaries. You won’t know who you’re dining with or which Chicago hot spot you’re going to until you check-in at our meet-up location. The location will be announced in the Know-Before-You-Go email for attendees. There is no registration fee for Dinner with Strangers, but each person will pay for their own dinner and drinks at the restaurant. RSVP for the event is required.
Our event mobile app enables you to easily connect with attendees before, during and after the Visionaries conference.
