In October 2018, ACA International launched ACA Cast, a podcast focused on providing ACA members, policymakers, the media and other stakeholders with important information and analysis related to the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry.
Since then, the podcast has evolved into a hub for members and ACA leadership to discuss compliance, industry laws, advocacy, management and operations best practices as well as trends in technology.
In 2020, ACA Cast published 23 episodes which totaled over 500 minutes of content. As it grows in popularity, it’s been downloaded more and more, including over 3,600 downloads this past year and more than 14,000 since it was launched.
Some of the most popular episodes include “Collection Leaders Guide to Responding to COVID-19,” “Answer the Phone so a Debt Collector Can Help,” and “Figuring it Out: Health Care Billing Practices.” If you’ve missed these or any of the other episodes, they are all still available on the podcast website.
Some additional recent episodes worth revisiting include “Putting a Bow on the TRACED Act,” “Case by Case Basis: Member Attorneys Review Pending Court Decisions,” and “Tips to Operationalize the CFPB’s Debt Collection Rule.”
As we transition into a new year, ACA is looking to continue to bring important information to the ARM industry through ACA Cast.
Our latest episode features a discussion about the state of the ARM industry with ACA Director of Education Kelli Krueger and Interactions Sales Representative Kirby Miller.
