Williams & Fudge Inc., an ACA International member company based in Rock Hill, S.C., held its 17th Annual Bike Race for the Kids on the campus of its Old Cotton Factory Dec. 14.
Employees raise funds for bicycles that are donated to Toys for Happiness to distribute to youth in York County. This year employees and the Williams Family Foundation raised $26,000 toward the purchase of 371 bikes from the Walmart at Newport and Academy Sports + Outdoors in Rock Hill.
“2020 and 2021 have been tough years for many in our community,” said David Williams, president of Williams & Fudge. “One thing the pandemic has taught all of us is how important it is to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Our traditions and lives have been affected in different ways, but I’m delighted to see how our employees and community partners have stepped up to meet the need to equip every kid who wants a bike gets one through Toys For Happiness.”
This event is supported by Williams & Fudge employees and local partners.
