The team at Midwest-based ACA International member State supported local families, students and organizations as 2019 came to a close.
State provided holiday gifts for eight families and two high school students in local communities as well as donating just over $4,000 to local not-for-profit organizations to benefit area families.
In honor of its clients, State matched the generosity of its staff dollar-for-dollar, which is a new initiative this year.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to match our team’s generosity in honor of our valued clients,” said Tom Haag, State’s CEO and chairman of the board. “Our clients strive to meet the medical needs of their communities. Our goal this holiday season is to help meet the needs of families in our communities.”
Each State office selected local charities in Wisconsin and Illinois:
Madison
The team in the Madison headquarters worked with Domestic Abuse Intervention Services to provide gifts for three families in addition to a cash donation to assist victims of domestic abuse year-round.
Beloit
Beloit, the company’s largest office, provided gifts to two families and two high school students in additional to cash donations to House of Mercy and Caritas Beloit.
Milwaukee
The Milwaukee team partnered with Hope House to provide gifts and gift cards for three families and other residents.
Chicago
The team in the greater Chicago area partnered with St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Geneva, Illinois, to make a cash donation in support of the church’s Adopt-a-Family Christmas initiative, where many local families are served.
“I was overwhelmed by the generosity of our team and their concern for local families in need of a helping hand this holiday season,” said State President Tim Haag. “Our team strives to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their patients every day. This is just another example of our team’s caring spirit and desire to help those in our communities.”
