Margie Brickner, president and CEO of Reliant Capital Solutions in Columbus, Ohio, was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year® 2019 Award in the East Central program this year.
Widely considered one of the most prestigious business awards programs in the U.S., the program recognizes entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are excelling in areas, such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, while also transforming our world. Brickner was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges.
“It’s an absolute honor to be named as a finalist for this prestigious award,” Brickner said. “Especially to be considered among such a professional group of finalists with extensive knowledge, leadership and innovation in business.”

With locations across two states, Reliant employs more than 300 individuals. In 2018, Reliant was honored as one of the fastest growing companies in Central Ohio and is a recipient of the Columbus Business First Fast 50 Award. Over the past 10 years, Brickner has grown Reliant exponentially, making it one of the nation’s premiere collection agencies.
Now in its 33rd year, the EY Entrepreneur of The Year® program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries throughout the world, according to a news release.
