As part of an ongoing initiative to foster financial literacy in children and teens, the Florida Collectors Association (FCA) recently donated proceeds from its annual conference fundraiser to two organizations in southern Florida.
A $2,650 donation from the FCA’s annual conference will benefit Junior Achievement (JA) of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast and their programs that focus on preparing young people to succeed in a global economy through work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
“Our organization is one that believes strongly in supporting organizations [that] are teaching our next generation financial skills that set them up for success in the future,” said Matt Kiefer, president of the FCA.
