Bitterman, vice chair of ACA International MAP Committee, adds new role to her industry and company leadership.

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, an ACA International member company in Ohio, elected Shareholder Eileen M. Bitterman to the firm’s management committee.
Her appointment marks the first female to be named in the firm’s history, according to a news release from Weltman, Weinberg & Reis.
“I am honored to be elected to the board and excited to have the opportunity to continue to provide guidance and leadership to our law firm,” Bitterman said in the news release. “I have proudly been with Weltman for 25 years, and I am thrilled to have achieved this personal career goal during my tenure with the firm. It is a privilege to be a part of this fantastic leadership team and work with our amazing staff as we strive for legal excellence every day. I look forward to our future and being a part of the success and growth of the firm as we continue to adapt to change in our industry and the world.”
The management committee includes the firm’s senior leadership team, which develops strategic and succession plans to ensure the firm’s ongoing success. Weltman’s board consists of elected members who serve as directors and work closely with the other shareholders to provide oversight of firm business operations.

In her current role as compliance officer, Bitterman is responsible for managing the firm’s Compliance Audit Department, Client Services Unit, and Compliance Management System. She is also extremely active within the accounts receivable management industry, serving in a leadership role on several committees, including vice chair of the Member Attorneys Program (MAP) Committee for ACA International.
