Employees and executives gathered at the Petaluma headquarters of CrossCheck and subsidiary Optio Solutions Dec. 17 to present gifts for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree charity provides hundreds of gifts each Christmas to low-income families. This year’s gifts from CrossCheck and Optio employees include footballs and baseball gloves, stuffed animals, Hot Wheels sets, a kitchen playset, board games, books and more.
“Community involvement and engagement extends to giving,” said CEO J. David Siemieda. “We have always worked to be an influential staple in the Sonoma County business community during our more than 35 years here. And the enthusiasm with which our employees and associates have gotten involved in giving and lending a hand during the holiday season and beyond is a testament to how we can all give back and support each other.”
CrossCheck’s involvement with the Salvation Army and the Angel Tree program has been a long-standing annual tradition.
In addition to donating gifts to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree charity, employees also donated canned goods and non-perishable foods to the Redwood Empire Food Bank’s Annual Food & Funds Drive.
