Minneapolis – July 17, 2020 – ACA International elected four ACA members to the Board of Directors as part of ACA’s 2020 Virtual Convention & Expo, along with a slate of new officers for the 2020-2021 term.
The officers elected to serve one-year terms are:
- President G. Scott Purcell (president of Professional Credit Service in Springfield, Oregon)
- President-Elect Kevin Baich (vice president of Day Knight & Associates in Ballwin, Missouri)
- Treasurer Daniel Desatnick, IFCCE (president and cofounder of The Allen Daniel Associates Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts)
New board members elected by the Council of Delegates for three-year terms are:
- Dennis Barton III, owner and managing attorney of The Barton Law Group LLC in Chesterfield, Missouri.
- LaDonna Bohling, chief compliance officer for Receivable Solutions LLC in Columbia, South Carolina.
- Michael Klutho, shareholder for Bassford Remele in Minneapolis.
- Brian Watkins, president of Southern Oregon Credit Service Inc. in Medford, Oregon.
“The ACA Board of Directors will play a critical role in the year ahead, leading the association in a time of change and helping members succeed,” said ACA International CEO Mark Neeb. “The new members’ commitment to taking on volunteer leadership roles is critical for the association and the accounts receivable management industry. I look forward to working with the returning members and new officers as we continue to build momentum on the great work we’ve accomplished in the last year.”
ACA International's Board of Directors governs the affairs, activities and concerns of the association and is made up of 15 elected association members who serve three-year terms, plus the CEO and past president as nonvoting members. Officers serve one-year terms.
The ACA Council of Delegates, elected by the units and divisions, represents constituencies, and has the primary responsibilities of electing the ACA Board of Directors and approving amendments to the association’s bylaws.
