Looking for inspiration to start your new year off right? We spoke with ACA International members working in a variety of markets to find out what they hope to accomplish in 2019.
If you’re not sure what to focus on in the coming months, check out a few of their responses.
“The lack of leadership roles for women and diverse attorneys in law firms (and the collection industry as a whole) continues to be a challenge. My resolution for 2019 is to keep pushing to promote diverse talent and women into leadership roles—and to challenge my colleagues to do the same!”
Ellen B. Silverman, consumer financial services practice group leader, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP
“2019 is the year of brand concentration through leadership in the market. In unison with our leadership team, I’m excited to reinvigorate our DCM Services’ brand for what it is. We are pioneers. We are innovators. We are educators. Our focus in 2019 will be continuing to connect on our evolving brand to the broader market.”
DeAnna Busby-Rast, chief business development officer, DCM Services, LLC
“I believe an organization’s growth is directly related to the growth of the organization’s leadership. A culture of continuous improvement occurs when leaders continuously improve their leadership skills. My goal for 2019 is to continue my organization’s growth by establishing a mentorship program with a focus on leadership development.”
David Cannella, CEO-president, Credit Service Company Inc.
“I endeavor to continue my quest for the ‘secret of success;’ a moving target that I know encompasses collaboration and respectful integration. With far more questions than answers, I will continue to surround myself with people who are wiser and more talented than me. We’ll meet the challenges together.”
Cindy Gagne, general manager, Armada Corp.
