Compliance resources are at your fingertips through the ACA SearchPoint library, available online as an exclusive benefit to ACA International members.
ACA Corporate Counsel Colin Winkler and Compliance Analysts Andrew Pavlik and Laura Dadd will present an overview of this valuable member resource during the next ACA Huddle at 11 a.m. CDT, Wednesday, Aug. 12.
ACA SearchPoint allows members to explore state licensing requirements and compliance guidance on contacting consumers, for example, through its comprehensive library. ACA also recently revamped the search function of the online library. Members can locate SearchPoint documents by keyword(s) or document number using the search bar, or by using the tags listed on the SearchPoint website. There is the option to select multiple tags to narrow your search.
The webinar will also include a brief update on the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in response to a June 22 request from and its partner organizations seeking more detail about the DCA’s new foreign language services rule. Read more in ACA’s coverage here.
The ACA Huddle also features a daily update on the current landscape for receivables businesses as both the federal and state governments are discussing or enacting legislation and regulations that will impact both collection activity and business operations of our member agencies. ACA’s advocacy and compliance teams are tracking this activity and will provide members with a daily update on the current landscape for receivables businesses. Join the ACA Huddle each week to stay up to date on the rules of the game.
The ACA Huddle is a member’s only event and no registration is required. Simply log in to the event website to find the WebEx link and password.
