The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is resuming meetings with stakeholders and consumers this month, including a new town hall event with Director Rohit Chopra on June 14 in Great Falls, Montana.
The event will also be available online and ACA International encourages members to attend either virtually or in-person.
Chopra will host a discussion with local community organizations, advocates, leaders, and members of the public about challenges faced by rural residents in Montana and how banking deserts adversely impact Montana’s financial landscape, according to the CFPB.
While hosted by a regulator, the town hall is still an opportunity to advocate for the accounts receivable management industry and learn about the CFPB’s approach to these meetings under Director Chopra’s leadership.
We have resources to help you get started if you’re interested in advocacy and to share with your representatives or regulators about the ARM industry.
