Have you ever felt off balance and uncentered? Do your work-life demands create conflict and despair? Are you always choosing between engaging in work, family, or life obligations, without enough hours in the day to do it all?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are not alone. A work-life balance is not a new phenomenon. What is new are the dynamic internal and external environmental factors that change over time. If you feel that your well-being, psychological safety, and personal or professional growth have become unbalanced, this session is for you!
Join Dr. Karolyn Rubin, president of TLC Experts LLC and Comply-Sense® LLC and senior education consult for Allstate, for a compelling 2022 Visionaries Conference session on how her research led to the discovery of her “PB and J” method and how it can help you.
Join this session, “The Great Balancing Act: The Power Behind PB and J!” at the 2022 Visionaries Conference, held Nov. 1-2 at the Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago.
Dr. Rubin will teach you how to:
- Understand key individual and external environmental factors that influence work-life balance challenges for women.
- Foster work-life balance at home and work.
- Feel empowered when navigating through work-life challenges.
- Apply the “PB and J” method to your daily routine.
More Ways to Connect
Join Dinner with Strangers Tuesday, Nov. 1—an event that takes you out to a local Chicago restaurant for dinner with five to seven other Visionaries. You won’t know who you’re dining with or which Chicago hot spot you’re going to until you check-in at the meet-up location. There is no registration fee for Dinner with Strangers, but each person will pay for their own dinner and drinks at the restaurant. RSVP for the event is required.
Visionaries Scholarships Are Still Available
There are currently a few scholarships left that will assist in covering registration fees and hotel costs for Visionaries. Due to a generous donation from CCMR3 and co-founder and CEO Jacob Corlyon, members can apply for the available scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis. CCMR3 is also the diamond sponsor for the event.
Access the 2022 Visionaries Conference scholarship application here. The application will be available until all the scholarships have been distributed. Applicants will receive a notification within five business days as to whether their application has been accepted and ACA will provide updates on the availability of the scholarships.
There is still time to be a part of ACA’s Fall Forum and the 2022 Visionaries Conference, where you will acquire the latest industry knowledge and exchange views on shared challenges.
The 2022 Visionaries Conference is a goal-centered, engaging experience for women and female-identifying individuals at every level of an organization. It is sponsored by CCMR3 and Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
The two-day event, held in conjunction with ACA’s Fall Forum, offers incredible opportunities for business networking with professionals and their allies in the industry, career empowerment and personal growth. All are welcome regardless of gender identity.
