ACA International has new online education teed up in February, including state specifics for collectors, navigating the alphabet soup of laws in the age of Reg F, how to deal with disgruntled employees, building high-performing teams and more.
Don’t forget: For cost savings, these seminars, and all ACA online education and recordings, are included for members with the All-Access Training Zone pass.
Here are the remaining seminars planned for February:
Innovation Stage Online: In the Alphabet Soup with Bassford Remele
In this inaugural seminar as part of the “In the Alphabet Soup” series, ACA’s senior counsel Colin Winkler will moderate a discussion with Bassford Remele Consumer Law Defense Practice Group co-chairs, Jessica Klander and Patrick Newman, about the state of the alphabet soup of laws—the FDCPA, FCRA and TCPA—now that Reg F is in effect.
How did we do as an industry getting the model validation notice off the ground? What litigation trends are emerging? What can we expect for 2022? These questions and more will be answered during this seminar. Participant questions, comments and stories are welcome.
This seminar is from 2 to 3 p.m. CDT Feb. 23. Visit the seminar webpage to register.
Building High-Performing Teams
Being an effective team leader requires the ability to manage your most important assets: people and relationships. This seminar will address strategies to successfully lead a team, work with different personalities and generations, hold an efficient team meeting and build morale. ACA Certified Instructor Beth Conklin, TSP, CCCO, director of organizational training and development at State Collection Service Inc., will lead this seminar.
This seminar is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. CDT Feb. 24-25. Visit the seminar webpage to register.
