The Federal Trade Commission’s National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) is March 3-9, 2024, which is a great time for ACA International members to showcase the ways they educate and assist consumers on financial decisions.
During NCPW, government agencies and consumer protection groups work together to share information about consumer rights and help people learn to spot, report, and avoid scams. The FTC has also provided a list of resources you can use to bring NCPW to your community now.
As a part of the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry, ACA members are directly involved in consumers’ financial decisions. NCPW is a great time for members to learn more about how to support consumer education on topics such as identity theft, scams and incorrect information on credit reports while you talk to consumers about resolving debts.
