Applications for the ACA International Education Foundation’s (ACAEF) Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship are due in just over a month, on May 13, 2022. ACA is urging its members to share the scholarship details with their staff before the deadline to raise awareness about this important opportunity.
Each year, the ACAEF offers scholarships through the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program, which are designed to help individuals connected to the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry and their children to further their education at post-secondary colleges, universities, community or technical colleges.
Remember there is also still time to join ACA’s Collectors Challenge through April 30, where all proceeds benefit the ACAEF and the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program.
Spread the word! Applications for the 2022 scholarships are open now through May 13, 2022.
5 Reasons to Apply:
- Further your connection to the association and ARM industry.
- Be recognized for your commitment to academic excellence and offset the cost of higher education, allowing you to focus more on your educational goals.
- Receive $1,000, $3,000, $5,000 or $10,000 to put toward your future education.
- Use scholarship earnings for items like books, room and board, tuition and more.
- Further your education at post-secondary colleges, universities, or community/technical colleges.
Ethan McKague, whose parent is employed by Ontario Systems, LLC, in Vancouver, Washington, received a $3,000 scholarship in 2020 to further his studies at Brigham Young University.
“The scholarship was super helpful for me,” McKague said. “Paying for school can be a very stressful thing, so this scholarship helped alleviate some of that stress, allowing me to focus on the good that I can do with my education.”.
