National Small Business Week is underway and the U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a free virtual summit throughout the week, where you can interact with other business owners and get expert advice.
For more than 50 years, National Small Business Week, hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration, has celebrated the contributions of small, local, independently owned businesses in every U.S. community.
We know that most ACA member debt collection companies are small businesses, with nearly 85% maintaining fewer than 49 employees—making this week a good time to connect with other businesses and access resources during the virtual summit.
“National Small Business Week 2022 celebrates the resiliency and tenacity of America’s entrepreneurs who are doing their part to power our nation’s historic economic comeback,” according to the SBA.
During National Small Business Week, the SBA is hitting the road on a national bus tour. SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman will visit nine cities across the country and, in collaboration with the SBA’s local offices, join local elected officials to celebrate America’s 32.5 million small businesses who have played an integral role in powering our nation’s historically strong economic comeback.
The “Building a Better America Through Entrepreneurship” tour will take place through May 6 and will feature stops in:
- May 3 – Denver, Colorado.
- May 4 – Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia, and Columbia, South Carolina.
- May 5 – Richburg, South Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
- May 6 – Raleigh, North Carolina, and Norfolk, Virginia.
Check out the virtual summit agenda here, which features sessions on marketing, building a hybrid workforce and more.
