A new blog post on ACA International’s Safeguards Rule Resource Center busts two cybersecurity myths that many small and mid-size businesses believe in: that they are too small to be a target for cybercriminals and that they can’t afford good cybersecurity.
“Cyber adversaries love small and mid-size businesses because they prefer what they perceive as low-hanging fruit,” writes TPx, ACA’s Safeguards Rule security partner of choice. “If you have sensitive data, you’re a target.”
