A new book from Cato Institute Director of Health Policy Studies Michael F. Cannon will explore the health care system in the U.S. compared to other advanced nations like Canada and the United Kingdom, with the goal to show remedies needed for more affordable and accessible care.
The book, “Recovery: A Guide to Reforming the U.S. Health Sector,” includes in those remedies what state and federal policymakers can do in terms of reforms for more affordable and universal health care, according to an article from the Cato Institute.
It will be available Oct. 16, 2023. The Cato Institute will also hold a discussion with Cannon with the author and a panel of experts on the topics in the book at noon EDT Oct. 16, 2023. Register here.
