Two weeks ago, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie held its annual Great Futures Dinner, “A Night of Stars.” Some of the youth members shared projects they worked on at the club, and Navient Senior Collections Manager Clarice Gary, a former Chicago Boys & Girls Club member, spoke on Navient’s behalf as their local volunteer ambassador.
The dinner featured performances by elementary club members and the Pat C. Botts Youth of the Year, and members had the chance to speak on their experiences with the club.
Since 2021, Navient has supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in building great futures for young people nationwide, and is committed to making a meaningful difference in its communities and working to advance opportunities for all young people.
Navient has curated a hub of resources that helps club teens learn more about exploring and paying for college, available through the MyFuture platform.
It also currently serves as the lead sponsor of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Keystone Program, the organization’s premier teen character and leadership program for ages 14-18 that focuses on academic success, career preparation, and community service, in order for teens to grow into responsible, productive and caring adults.
