These members were elected officers of the association:
- President: Jaime Barthel, Professional Service Bureau Inc., Anoka, Minnesota

The unit elected the following new GLCCA board members: Jessica Albrecht, Range Credit Bureau Inc.; Luke Check, Americollect Inc.; Justin Penn, Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP; and Tom Oldani, Arbor Professional Solutions Inc.
There were several compliance panels held during the conference discussing data privacy, safeguards as well as the ever-popular attorney panel with Patrick Newman of Bassford Remele, Scott Renner of Velo Law Office and David Schultz of Hinshaw & Culbertson.
In addition, Megan Bryant of Paycourt and Jose Giron of State Collection Service discussed “Accepting Operational Mediocrity” within your business.
The GLCCA raised over $17,000 during its annual bottle auction. The state units designated $8,200 to be split between four different charities selected by each state, including the Special Olympics of Chicago, Wounded Warrior Project, SecureFutures in Wisconsin and Michigan Jump $tart for Financial Literacy.
The remaining $8,985 will support Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan legislative and advocacy efforts, as well as ACA International’s political action committee, ACPAC.
