Coast Professional Inc., an ACA International member company based in New York, recently announced that Brittany Minster, the company’s director of human resources, was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award for the category “Achievement in Human Resources” at the 2023 Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Award winners were announced during a gala at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Nov. 10. Over 1,600 nominations were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business award.
Minster was nominated for her unwavering dedication, drive, and leadership abilities. Since 2021, Minster has grown her HR team from seven employees to 12. Minster’s team has streamlined Coast’s onboarding process and has overseen mass onboarding of over 70 employees at a time in less than a nine-day time frame. Minster was also a driving force behind the company’s pandemic response, working tirelessly to ensure employees could work from home without issue.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on six juries.
“I am incredibly touched and filled with gratitude to be honored with the Stevie Award,” said Minster. “Sometimes you get so lost in the day to day that you lose sight of the remarkable accomplishments of our team, and I wouldn’t be here without them. This really makes me appreciate all the hard work we have done and how we strive to be better every day.”
According to Brent Henderson, vice president of human resources at Coast, this award validates the hard work Minster does behind the scenes, such as supporting Coast’s compensation, benefits, employee engagement, retention, professional development, and diversity while also being a leader and a mentor to her team.
“Brittany is an integral part of our team who leads by example,” Henderson said. “She is always working hard and bringing out the best in those around her. They couldn’t have found someone more deserving of the Stevie Award, in my opinion.”
