The Georgia Collectors Association (GCA) is accepting applications for the Phil Bennett Memorial Scholarship.
Each year, GCA offers up to $1,500 in scholarships divided among selected qualifying candidates. This scholarship is offered to high school seniors, college students, or those attending vocational training.
“In my first year at the University of Georgia, I maintained a 3.95 GPA while taking courses such as general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, genetics, and philosophy,” said Nathan Kleber, the 2021 recipient, about his accomplishments since receiving the scholarship. “Additionally, I began working in a research lab led by a professor in UGA’s biochemistry department in January. Throughout the spring, I learned a lot about the intricacies of bioinformatics and was able to contribute to a research project that will hopefully be published in the near future. Thank you again for the scholarship money that helped fund all of these experiences, and I hope to keep working hard to accomplish my goals, in college and beyond.”
