Multiple ACA International member companies recently made the cut as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Collections.
The Best Places to Work in Collections program, now in its 15th year, is administered by Best Companies Group, which conducts over 60 local, national and industry “Best Places” programs each year. This year, only 34 companies met the standard to participate in the survey, which honors the best places of employment in the collections industry.
Of the 34 companies recognized, 30 of them were ACA member companies.
The Best Places to Work in Collections list is divided into three size categories: small (15-49 employees), medium (50-149 employees) and large (150+ employees).
The program includes a rigorous two-part blind survey process to determine its recipients. This includes an evaluation of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience with direct, unfiltered employee input.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in the U.S.;
- Have a minimum of 15 employees in the U.S.;
- Must be in business a minimum of one year; and
- Must be a collection agency, collection law firm, debt buyer, or creditor recovery operation.
“Our leadership team strives to build a culture that is diverse, cohesive, and founded on trust and teamwork,” said Rick Saffer, president and CEO of Credit Control, which has been recognized for the third year in a row. “It is extremely rewarding to see this hard work be recognized with a positive response from our employees.
