Associated Collection Agencies, Inc.

Associated Collection Agencies Inc. is the State Unit of ACA International, The Association of Credit Collection Professionals, a worldwide trade Association with nearly 2,000 members.
Established in 1923, Associated Collection Agencies has over 45 members representing Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.
Associated Members can take advantage of the many resources available including a strong education program. Because the collection industry is extremely regulated by both the federal and state government, it is important for industry members to be in compliance with existing laws as well as informed about legislative updates. ACA offers information and schools on compliance issues as well as techniques and information on how agencies can manage their offices more efficiently and be more profitable.
Associated Collection Agencies, Inc. has established a strong legislative presence in both Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. This allows the collection industry to have a voice in government. ACA has successfully introduced and passed legislation as well as helped to defeat legislation unfriendly to the collection industry. Colorado contracts with full time Lobbyists, Jenn Penn & Sundari Kraft. Members have the satisfaction of knowing that their interests are being well represented at the legislative level.
The benefits of membership are many, but perhaps the most important benefit is the opportunity for members to interact with each other and share information on an informal level. The annual convention each summer offers a terrific forum for members to talk shop, renew old friendships and have some fun at the same time. While it is true that ACA members are actually competitors, this group has learned that by pooling their many resources, both the collection industry and its members are beneficiaries many times over.
