Connect to Collect
ACA's Collector Simulation Course
Put your collectors on a real-world simulated collection call to practice their skills before and after hitting the phones with ACA's collector training course. ACA's Connect to Collect web course is designed to help new and experienced collection professionals complete a successful call from start to finish. This interactive course tests your collectors' ability to respond to different personality types, overcome stalls, anticipate consumer behavior, use proper word choice, take effective call notes, and other techniques to effectively collect on the account while staying in compliance with the law.
Based on the concepts featured in ACA's FDCPA Essentials for Collectors and Essential Collection Skills & Techniques, your collectors will leave this interactive course feeling confident to hit the phones. A collector's response and a consumer's reaction determine the path the conversation will take. The 'Coach Feedback' and 'Tips' sections will help your collectors improve their responses throughout the conversation.
All Four Call Scenario Sections, including the 'Final Scenario' feature the following:
- Open the Call
- Determine the Problem
- Find a Solution
- Close the Call
- Call Notes Quiz
- Call Results
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to print a Certificate of Completion. Test your collectors today!
How Do Web courses Work?
A Web course is a self-paced training tool individuals can access through My ACA and a portal on ACA's website. Although the course is identical to the Connect to Collect computer-based training CD-ROM, this alternative format provides a cost-effective way to track the training progress of multiple collectors. Your collectors' progress will be automatically saved during each session making it easy to complete the course in steps. Plus, each collector for whom you purchase and have a Web course assigned may take the course an unlimited number of times during the six-month period after they first open it.
Important Note: Web courses are assigned to the person who purchases them online. If you are buying a course for individual(s) other than yourself, contact ACA after completing your purchase at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-269-1607 and press zero, Monday-Friday, 8-5 pm Central time. Tell us the name and title of the individual(s) to whom the course(s) should be assigned and include their email address (if they have one). Each purchased Web course provides access for one individual for a period of 6 months--after which access expires and the course must be purchased again to gain access. A Certificate of Completion is available upon completing the course.
