The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau just issued an advisory opinion that dramatically impacts debt collectors’ use of payment transaction fees. Industry leaders Leah Dempsey, shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and ACA’s lobbyist, Courtney Reynaud, ACA president-elect and president of Creditors Bureau USA, and Michael Klutho, shareholder at Bassford Remele, will provide an overview of this opinion and discuss what it means for the accounts receivable management industry on the ACA Huddle.
