Longtime ACA International employee Tammy Schoenberg recently returned to the association, bringing nearly 20 years of association management experience to her new role as director of member and association services.
Schoenberg worked with ACA in various roles including meeting planner, staff trainer/human resources executive director of the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC), and administrative manager for Campus ACA.
“We are thrilled to have Tammy back in the ACA family,” said Jessica Hartmann, vice president of member experience. “Her many years of experience with Campus ACA, events, PPMS and other aspects of ACA’s service offerings will be a great asset for the Member Services team. Her members-first mentality will be an important part of ACA’s mission to help members succeed.”
For the last four years, Schoenberg worked with an association management company in Minneapolis where she served as office manager and executive director for one of the company’s clients.
Now at ACA, Schoenberg said her job is in part focused on directing the member services team and association management. Many members may not be aware that ACA manages several related entities such as the International Association of Commercial Collectors, the ACA Foundation and the Institute for Collection Leadership and provides contract services to some units as well. Schoenberg will be working with these entities in her new role.
“It’s good to be back, I’m looking forward to working with members and staff and growing ACA’s association management service offering,” Schoenberg said.
