ACA International is hosting a silent auction to support its political action committee—ACPAC—and advocacy efforts in conjunction with ACA’s 2021 Annual Convention & Expo, July 28-30 in Las Vegas.
The silent auction includes trips, personalized training, a bottle of rare whiskey, education packages, handcrafted art and more.
ACPAC is dedicated to amplifying ACA’s voice with key decisionmakers on Capitol Hill.
“It is absolutely imperative that we get our message out to as many policymakers as we can in 2021,” said ACA’s Federal Advocacy Director Patrick Russell. “ACPAC helps raise our profile on Capitol Hill.”
A political action committee (PAC) is a key component in our advocacy toolbox, helping to create opportunities for engagement and education with elected officials.
The ACPAC Administrative Fund (Admin Fund) provides discretionary funds to support ACPAC’s operating expenses, including fundraising, compliance and other administrative costs.
ACPAC hopes to return to more in-person fundraisers this year, and one opportunity is the Topgolf outing, sponsored by Nationwide and BillingTree, during ACA’s Annual Convention & Expo.
“Our work in Washington, D.C., never stops and if we want to make sure our advocacy has a lasting impact, ACPAC and the Admin Fund need to be strong,” Russell said.
The Admin Fund supports the operating expenses of ACPAC—ensuring that 100% of ACPAC’s funds are focused directly on political advocacy, rather than being spent on overhead.
Members can support ACPAC through bidding in the silent auction or by visiting the Admin Fund website to make a corporate or personal contribution.
The silent auction will run through July 30. All proceeds go to support the Admin Fund, so try to win one (or more) of these great items!
