ACA International’s Education Foundation (ACAEF) is hosting its next fundraising event Dec. 28 with the opportunity to meet former NFL Coach Dick Vermeil.

The ACAEF, the philanthropic arm of the association, continues to see interest in the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship among ACA members and the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry thanks to advocacy among the foundation to spread the word about this valuable opportunity.

“Being a sports fan, I often wonder what goes on in the minds of athletes and coaches and think how cool it would be to sit down with them to hear some of their stories,” said Roger Weiss, president at CACi and chair of ACA’s Education Foundation Board. “A sit down with Coach Dick Vermeil is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get insight on players, personalities, and the evolution of pro football from Ron Jaworski to Mike Jones (if you know you know). I really hope to see you and or your friends join us and to raise money for a worthy cause.”

Support also comes from successful Collector’s Challenge events planned by ACA members across the country to fund the scholarships, which were created in the memory of ACA member Robert E. Loomer, a dedicated instructor, and ACA staff member Irvin “Dempsey” Mortenson.

ARM professionals and ACA members are invited to the ACAEF event to raise funds for the scholarships and support continuing education.

The virtual fundraising event will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. EDT Dec. 28  and hosted on Zoom.

Join us to meet with Coach Vermeil and give back to the ACAEF. Tickets are available for purchase online here:  https://me.acainternational.org/Shop/Foundation.
