State Collection Service, an ACA International member company based in Madison, Wisconsin, donated $13,000 to organizations combatting food insecurity and homelessness this holiday season.
The accounts receivable management company made donations to local agencies in the communities where it has a physical office and to Feeding America on behalf of its remote staff members, including:
- House of Mercy – Beloit, Wisconsin
- DAIS – Madison, Wisconsin
- Hope House – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Peter’s Catholic Church Food Pantry – Geneva, Illinois
- Feeding America – Remote Staff
State President Tim Haag and his wife Kristen made a $1,000 personal pledge if the team reached the fundraiser goal—and the team came together to beat the goal. When combined with the company match, the gift continued the 2022 trend of record-breaking donations.
“I am extremely proud of the generosity of our team. When combined with company contributions, I am grateful we are able to help families in need by donating nearly $90,000 in 2022,” said Tim Haag. “Our team strives to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their patients every day. This is another example of our team’s compassionate spirit and desire to help others in our communities.”
Earlier in the year, State donated to Special Olympics as well as a donation in honor of Tom Haag to Cars Curing Kids, ACA International previously reported.
