State Advocacy Update: ACA Leaders Discuss State Regulations in Massachusetts

On Friday, Jan. 4, President of the New England Collectors Association (NECA) Jeff DiMatteo, past ACA International President and current chair of the Federal Affairs Committee Jay Gonsalves, IFCCE, MCE, and ACA’s Vice President of Government and State Affairs Andy Madden met with the office of the Massachusetts Attorney General to discuss issues impacting the accounts receivable management industry.

This meeting was part of a continuing dialogue between ACA International, NECA, the attorney general’s office and the Massachusetts Division of Banks regarding inconsistent state regulations and a pending request for formal clarification and guidance.
