ACA International’s Campus ACA Academy is in the spotlight for the second year since its return to the Spring Forum & Expo, underway March 13-15 at The M Resort in Las Vegas.
ACA’s Spring Forum & Expo brings together accounts receivable management industry professionals, executives and vendors from around the world. Credit and Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) advance training, attorney professional development, industry solutions and powerful networking are hallmarks of this industry-leading conference.
Educational opportunities offered this year include the return of the Credit and Collection Compliance Attorney (CCCA) credentialing program, designed for attorney members and compliance professionals to advance their industry knowledge.
The three-part CCCA workshop will feature member insights on advanced compliance topics from Debra Ciskey, IFCCE, compliance officer at Wakefield and Associates Inc.; Leslie Bender, IFCCE, CCCO, chief strategy officer and general counsel at BCA Financial Services Inc.; Dennis Barton III, managing attorney at The Barton Law Group LLC; and John Bedard Jr., owner of Bedard Law Group P.C.
In addition to the new CCCA program, ACA is offering the complete curriculum to earn the CCCO, Professional Collection Management and Collection Industry Professional designations during the event.
Following several CORE Curriculum seminars March 13, the Spring Forum & Expo welcome and keynote presentation, “Applying Emotional Intelligence for Career Success,” will feature highly interactive lessons on how to understand the qualities that make up emotional intelligence and how you can incorporate those lessons into your workplace conversations.
Immediately following the keynote presentation, attendees are welcome to attend the opening reception in the expo hall to network and connect with vendors on resources and technology to move the industry forward.
On Thursday, March 14, ACA’s talented group of Certified Instructors will lead sessions featuring the latest updates and industry education on data security, performance management, leadership and compliance and more.
The expo hall remains open until 3 p.m. March 14 and the Spring Forum & Expo concludes March 15 with sessions including Advanced Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Issues and Writing Effective Policies and Procedures.
