The Southwest Collectors Association is planning a virtual 2020 Southwest ACA Conference & Expo Oct. 13-15, 2020.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Life After Corona,” said Southwest Collectors Association Unit Executive Director Tom Morgan.
“The conference is the inaugural event for the recently formed Southwest Collectors Association. This was made possible when ACA of Texas and the Oklahoma Collectors Association voted to merge to form this new ACA member unit,” Morgan said.
All ACA International members in other states are also invited and welcome to attend the virtual conference.
In addition to peer-to-peer networking opportunities and advanced education, the conference features virtual exhibitors offering invaluable resources and business solutions.
“Taking time to engage with our exhibitors can be a great educational experience, even online,” Morgan said. “We have a great line-up of nationally recognized presenters who, along with selected exhibitors, staff and members, will be addressing the pressing issues facing our members.”
Session topics include consumer communications, collection tactics, compliance issues, FCRA disputes, legal and litigation issues, as well as opening remarks from ACA CEO Mark Neeb and President G. Scott Purcell. Melvin Adams, a former captain of the Harlem Globetrotters, is the keynote speaker.

“We look forward to reconnecting with our unit members and ARM professionals from around the country to network, learn and advance the industry,” Morgan said.
