SBA’s Financial Program Leader to Address Washington Insights Conference

Jihoon Kim, with 21 years of experience at the SBA, will speak May 4.
ACA International members will have the opportunity to hear from Jihoon Kim, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) deputy director for the Office of Financial Program Operations), on May 4 during the Washington Insights Conference.
In his role Kim, a 21-year veteran with the SBA, shares responsibility for the oversight of its nine loan operation centers. He will provide insights to the many ACA International members who own small businesses.
Kim served as director of the SBA’s Secondary Market Program prior to his current position.
He will join speakers with connections to the credit and collection industry, including regulators and members of Congress such as U.S. Rep. Dave Trott, R-Mich., who is returning to speak at the event this year. Other speakers include U.S. Reps. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., Scott Tipton, R-Colo., and U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo.
Regulatory speakers featured at the event include J. Reilly Dolan, acting deputy director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection; Michael O’Rielly, Federal Communications Commission; and Kristina Sesek, director of legislative affairs at the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform.
The keynote speaker is political commentator and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga.
