Optimizing Communication Under CFPB’s Proposed Rules

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s proposed rulemaking for the debt collection industry allows limited-content text messages to be sent.

It may seem like good news, but third-party debt collectors need to come up with effective communications plans to remain compliant with the final rule while contacting consumers in their preferred method.

To help, Karl Koster, chief IP and regulatory counsel with Noble Systems Corporation, will lead a Hot Topic Webinar “Limited Content Texting: Optimizing Your Communication,” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. CST Dec. 11.

It may also seem like third party debt collectors can now "text away" without liability. However, some of the salient requirements of limited-content text message have significant operational impacts. Koster will help participants learn how to optimize a limited-content texting program and gain further insights on the analytics data that can be gleaned during this important, informative webinar.
