As in-person meeting opportunities pick up again in Washington, D.C., ACA International member Phil Rosenthal, IFCCE, president of Nationwide Credit Corporation, met with U.S. Sens. John Kennedy, R-La., and Steve Daines, R-Mont., at a recent conference.
Rosenthal was able to talk about accounts receivable management (ARM) industry issues and ACA’s advocacy work and the association’s goal to continue to connect with members of Congress.
Daines serves on the Senate Finance Committee and the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, which often oversee presidential nominations for accounts receivable management industry regulators. Kennedy also serves on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, Committee on Appropriations and Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Members interested in learning about ACA’s advocacy, as well as opportunities to get involved, can access the 2021 advocacy booklet here and learn about ACA’s work with policymakers on our policymakers website.
ACA is also running a campaign to share our members’ stories with Congress and regulators through videos.
Agency tours are a strong advocacy tool and allow ACA members to connect with their legislators and regulators. When we can’t do that in person, a video is a great option. Learn more on how to get involved in the campaign here.
