If you ask John Bedard, owner of Bedard Law Group P.C. and the chair of ACA International’s new Education Council, the year ahead will be “an education ride.”
The council identified its priorities and goals at its inaugural meeting in September.
“The new Education Council has great things in store for ACA members this year,” Bedard said.
The council includes representatives from ACA committees to ensure ACA members—large and small—are represented in the group’s work.
“This year’s council is comprised of experts bearing wide and deep experience in the industry who share a common vision of making ACA the center of the universe for collection industry education,” Bedard said.

Bedard said the Education Council is also focused on enhancing awareness and adoption of the All-Access Training Zone.
“The All-Access Training Zone is the very best value for education and training in the industry,” Bedard said. “The combination of Training Zone and the Professional Collection Specialist designation serves as a powerful differentiator in the marketplace and the hallmark of a professional debt collection industry.”
