There is still time for your staff to apply by May 14 for access to financial aid through the ACA International Education Foundation.
ACA International is urging agency owners to share the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship opportunity with their staff before the May 14 deadline.
Each year, the ACA International Education Foundation (ACAEF) offers scholarships through the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program. These scholarships are designed to help individuals connected to the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry and their children to further their education at post-secondary colleges, universities, community or technical colleges.
Spread the word today! Applications for the 2021 scholarships are open now through May 14.
Ethan McKague, a 2020 recipient, recently told ACA his scholarship was “immensely helpful” in offsetting the costs of his education.
McKague is studying computer science at Brigham Young University and his parent is employed at Ontario Systems LLC in Vancouver, Washington.
Scholarships are open to employees in the ARM industry as well.
“There have been many challenges in the last year and ACA is excited to offer the Loomer-Mortenson scholarships as a resource and investment in helping members and deserving students succeed,” said Roger Weiss, IFCCE, chair of the ACAEF Board. “These scholarships help advance their education and ACA encourages eligible member employees and their children to apply.”
Applying for a Scholarship
Scholarship applicants must be a current employee or child of an employee at a company affiliated with the credit and collection industry.
Winners will be selected based on their cumulative grade-point average and a written submission of a two- to three-page essay on the value of consumer credit to our nation’s economy. This may be either a creative story or persuasive essay.
Applications can be emailed to [email protected] by May 14 or mailed and postmarked by May 14 to:
